Irena Kalmić heads the Employment Department at AVS Legal. Irena has longstanding experience advising clients on various labour and employment law matters. She regularly advises multinational companies on compliance issues related to employment regulations, hiring and dismissals, organisational changes and redundancy, collective bargaining and labour disputes. 

Irena was a team member in some of the most prominent M&A transactions in Serbia and the region, in which she participated as a legal advisor for all issues related to employment law.

Irena’s fields of specialisation are also IP and Data Protection. Her clients come from various industries such as: automotive, transport, pharmaceutical, media, telecom, technology.

Irena won the 2019 Client Choice Award for employment & benefits in Serbia.
